Question:

I have a 2018 f350 platinum dually. I’m running a Anderson hitch at the highest setting and I still do not have enough bed rail clearance. Is there a way to raise the hitch more? How can I get more clearance?

The only way to gain additional clearance between the bedsides on your 2018 Ford F-350 Platinum Edition and the nose of your trailer while using the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System part # AM3200 assuming it is already in the highest setting would be to raise the height of the trailer.

In order to raise the height of your trailer I recommend using an axle flip kit as long as the axles are currently above the leaf springs. For this you will want to use part # K71-384-00 if you have 2-3/8" diameter axles or part # K71-385-00 if you have 3" diameter axles. The axle flip kit will raise the trailer the diameter of the axle and thickness of the leaf spring pack. The spring seats will also need to be removed and tack welded to the opposite side of the axle. You will need one kit per axle.

The only other option you have aside from raising the height of the trailer would be to use a different hitch. If you would like for me to recommend one for you I would need to know the size of your truck bed in addition to whether or not you have the factory puck system.
