Can you a recommend a replacement hinge for a Sears 15-cav cargo carrier?

For your Thule-made Sears brand 15-CAV rooftop cargo box an exact original hinge is not available but it is not hard to find suitable alternate parts. Hinges, mounting hardware kits and some other parts are often interchangeable among models and brands of cargo boxes.
On the linked page you will find all replacement hinges for cargo boxes. Note that SportRack is sister-brand to Thule and so a hinge from either Thule or SportRack is apt to work fine.
We have two styles of metal hinge, parts # TH13227 and # SR03396. If you end up having to drill a new hole or two in order to install the new hinge you can use black silicone sealant # LT37467 to close up any extra holes. You will want to use stainless steel or galvanized steel nuts/bolts to mount the hinge.
