Good morning. My wife just purchased 2018 Honda CRV EX AWD. Need a hitch and light harness. My nephew lives near you in OFallon and says you are the best choice for our needs. Well, thank your nephew for us. We do installations on all our products for customers here in Wentzville near O'Fallon.

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76128 is the best option in my opinion for your 2018 Honda CR-V. It is rated for a stronger capacity than the Curt option # C13397 and is a slightly easier install as well with no fascia trimming required.

For your trailer wiring, I recommend the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236 you mentioned which uses the quick-splice connectors and the power from the battery to protect your vehicle electronics.

For a ball mount I recommend the B&W # BWTS10038B for an adjustable ball mount or the ball mount kit # C45534. I've attached videos to assist.
