Question:
Will the hitch lock Item # HLT, work with the Curt hitch C12136? Do they have the same thread pattern? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
The Curt trailer hitch receiver, part # C12136, is not threaded at all. The pin hole is just a hole. Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock # HLT will work in the Curt hitch if you're carrying a Kuat Transfer V2 bike rack, like part # KU74FR.
The hitch lock is specifically designed for the Kuat Transfer racks and is threaded to work with them on 1-1/4 and 2 inch trailer hitch receivers.
If you're not carrying a Kuat Transfer then let me know what you're going to use the hitch for so I can recommend a lock that works for you.
