Question:
Hi there, I am purchasing the Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4inch Lift Spindle - Wide Tires - 2,000 lbs - ASR2KHDS03. I will be putting 16x8inch Wrangler wheels on the trailer with a 5x4.5inch bolt pattern. Can you recommend a Idler hub for me. My wheel does not have an open center as most trailer wheels do. Thanks

The Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4" Lift Spindle - Wide Tires - 2,000 lbs # ASR2KHDS03 is a great choice and the idler hubs you would want to fit are the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 # 84545UC1-EZ. These will be compatible with 16 inch wheels. Most Jeeps have 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern, so you may want the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 84550UC1-EZ. I recommend checking the bolt pattern as it is outlined at the bottom of that product page to ensure the correct fit.
You mentioned a wheel without an open center and that is concerning to me because that is necessary for the wheel to properly mount. The grease cap alone will stick out 1-1/8 inches from the end of the hub and the lugs cannot be tightened without that center hole either. That center hole must be about 2.75 inches or more to all the tire to mount to the hub. If you mean that your Wrangler wheels have a hole but a cap for the look of no hole, then as long as the dimensions work they will fit.
