Does the Kuat Trio Bike Rack Lock to a Roof Rack

Question:

Does the Kuat Trio Roof Bike Rack lock to the cars roof bars or is is just secured by the U Bolts and their 4 nuts? How do you prevent the bike rack from being stolen?

The front mounting hardware for the Kuat Trio # RU01 uses tamper-resistant parts. A would-be thief would have to have the exact tool to remove the rack from the roof. Upon realizing this a would-be thief would move on to an easier target.
