Does this need any sealant between tank and grommet?

Since the Valterra Rubber Tank Grommet # F02-2106 is rubber what you would need to use is a hose clamp to tighten and seal the grommet to the piping. You wouldn't need to use any type of sealant.
For a hose clamp we have the part # H03-0009 which will fit and work well.
