Question:
I have a 4 pin flat plug at the rear of my Jeep Wrangler for hooking up a trailer for brake lights. I need a plug adapter so that I can run a winch from the rear and get the power from my Jeep battery. Am I making since? Can you tell me what I Need? Best regards,

Expert Reply:
Winches draw quite a bit of amperage so for a kit that will be rated for that type of amerage draw we have the heavy gauge kit part # BDW20043 for up to a 4k winch, or if you have a higher rated winch we have the # BDW20207 for up to 16.5k.
These kits run all the way up to the battery to power the winch.
