would like to install trailer wiring harness 4 prong flat my trailer has led lights which kit will work do i need to run power wire to battery

For your 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan you can use Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56331. This and all of the wiring harnesses for your van do require a direct connection to the vehicle battery. This harness will work with LED trailer lights. I have linked a video showing an example installation of this harness for you.
