Where are the Connection Points to Install a Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2004 Jeep Liberty

wanted to know if this wiring rests in the vehicle or outside.

The connection points for Trailer Wiring Harness, # 118524, for the 2004 Jeep Liberty are located behind the vehicle tail lights. The connection points and converter will be inside of the vehicle when installation is complete. The 4-Way will be under the vehicle and you can use a mounting bracket, like # 18144. I have included a link to the installation instructions for the wiring harness for you to view.
