Brackets in the Way for B&W Gooseneck Hitch Install on a 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty FX

Question:

i have a 2017 ford f-250 FX4. we tried to install a BandW turn over gooseneck but there were brackets welded to the frame from the factory that are In the way. Ford cannot tell anything have you ran into this. it looks like some sort of prep package.

I spoke with my contact at B&W who said that you will actually use those brackets to install the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1116 on your 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty FX.

The only time that you will run into a problem is if you already do have the prep package installed on your F-250 but this would be pretty evident as you would have the 5 pucks in the bed of your truck.

I have attached a sample installation video on a 2017 F-350 that you can use as a reference.
