Recommendation For Custom Towing Mirrors For A 2017 GMC Sierra 1500
Published 02/28/2018 >
Question:
My GMC Sierra has power adjusting and folding. Heated, turn signal and puddle light. Will these mirrors work on my truck and not give me a service engine code if the power folding and puddle light are not connected? And will these connect to the existing wire connection without any modification?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors, Item # KS62135-36G, are a confirmed fit for your 2017 GMC Sierra 1500. These K-Source mirrors have the same mounting points as your factory mirrors and plug into you existing wiring. Normally, little or no drilling or modification is required (see installation instructions). The puddle light function is not included on K-Source mirrors. I also talked to K-Source tech support and you will need to disable your mirror memory function if it is active to keep the service engine code from coming on.
I have attached additional information and a video to assist with your project.
