The Curt Ball Mount # C45310 referenced in your question is indeed compatible and will work nicely with your Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13517. This particular Class III hitch is also confirmed to fit your 2005 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The 2 Inch Hitch Ball # A-90 that you also mentioned features a 1-1/4 inch diameter shank so it will work perfectly with the ball mount.
Since it sounds like you will be doing some towing, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55372 if you do not already have a trailer connector installed. This custom-fit harness will install by connecting directly to the built-in ports located behind the driver side trim panel. This will provide you with a 4-Way connector at the rear bumper of your Grand Vitara to connect with and power the trailer's basic signal lights.
I have attached the installation instructions for this harness that you can use for reference.
