Question:

2016 ram 1500. Looked where you said it should be but not seeing. Is it possible that plug is not installed from factory?

All 2016 Ram's came with the brake controller plug from the factory. The location of the plug can be found at the 3:25 mark in the attached video. The plug has a white square connector. It may be tucked back further up in the dash or taped to other wires but it will be in that general location.
