Question:
How can I install a back-up camera in the fifth wheel tailgate that I am building for my grandpa
asked by: Mike S
Expert Reply:
For your 5th Wheel Tailgate build, I recommend the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Flush Mount Camera # RVS-7707721 or the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System - Mirror with Monitor # RVS-772718 with this same camera. This is one of the more rare flush mounted cameras that will allow you to run the wires through the tailgate to give you a really clean look. You can mount the camera inside the steel frame or to the outside.
The outside lens diameter of the camera is 1.15 x1.18x 1.54 inches according to my contact at Rear View Safety.
