Question:
I have a Jayco 32 ft travel trailer that I am wanting to convert to electric jack. First of all what jack do you recommend? 2nd, is it a fairly easy install process? I have a Jayflight SLX 284BHSW

Helpful Expert Reply:
I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000.
It has a lifting capacity of 5,000 lbs which would be more than you'd need but will ensure that the jack will operate quickly and last a long time.
Install is very easy. It's just a matter of bolting this in place of your old jack and then running the power wire to either the trailer battery or to the 12 volt circuit of your 7-way.
