my ATV has pretty big tires - 28s. can I still use this kit with tires that big?

Your 28-inch diameter ATV tires are perfectly compatible with the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit # EM09160. In fact, these are 6-1/2 feet long so they'll have no issues.
You can install this using hardware of your preference. Stainless or galvanized hardware will be best for resisting corrosion from the elements.
