Troubleshooting Rampage SuperBrite LED Light that Both Blinkers Light Up Both Sides

My son has an Nissan frontier. when hooking up the light strip everything works till I try the turn signals either way when I try it the brake lights come on both sides. can you help?

The Rampage SuperBrite LED Tailgate Light Bar # RA960137 that you referenced uses a standard trailer 4-way connector to install. You'd want to test the pins of your son's Frontier 4-way to make sure it's wired properly.
Using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 test for voltage on the pin next to the jacketed pin (should be white wire) for voltage when running lights are on, next check the one next to it for blinking voltage when left turn signal is put on and see if the next pin also comes on with this circuit. If so then the problem is the wiring of your truck and it sounds like the turn signal circuits have shorted to each other somewhere closer to the front of your vehicle.
If the voltage looks good there then the issue is the light bar not being wired correctly. Check out the review video I attached for more on how to test for voltage.
