Question:
I have a 2016 Toyota Sequoia Platinum edition with the factory trailer wire harness. What is the correct wiring for the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Not only is the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR a great compact controller that can be mounted just about anywhere, it also has a connector that uses the same colors as the Tekonsha connectors.
Since your 2016 Toyota Sequoia has the factory brake controller harness you can use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3040-P. You will just need to cut off the black connector and then match up the wires color for color with the connector that comes with the Tow-Pro Elite. The adapter will plug into the factory connector under the driver side dash of your Sequoia.
I have attached some review and installation videos that you can reference for the installation as well as la link to the instructions.
