Can Valterra Waste Valve be Mounted in Side Position?
Published 02/06/2018 >
Question:
I would like to attach this to my existing sewer dump valve as insurance against the factory valve being accidentally opened before all the hook ups are in place. However it must be attached with the valve in the side position instead of on the top. Is that acceptable?

If you want to install the Valterra Waste Valve # T58 in the side position it will absolutely acceptable, yes. In fact, the accompanying photo shows it installed in the same way as you are asking about. I've also added a link to a video review of this product for you to take a look at.
