Can Valterra Check Valve # P23401LF be Used as a Fresh Water Diverter
Updated 02/06/2018 | Published 02/05/2018 >
Question:
I need to take the fresh water feed from a faucet and either direct it to my RV plumbing OR to fill the fresh water tank. Will this work? Additionally, what back flow prevention will I have? Should I also utilize a check valve to prevent back flow?

Expert Reply:
Valterra Check Valve # P23401LF can be used to divert water from two sources so it can direct the water to go where you want it to. It does have built-in backflow prevention to stop water from traveling back up past the valve so you would not need another fitting for that.
