Nets for cargo baskets such as the popular Rola basket that is 52-inch long x 40-1/2-inch are available in many sizes.

Even though many rooftop cargo baskets share a fairly similar overall size, depending on the specific cargo items you have loaded you could potentially be happier using one net than another.

Let's say you had some fairly tall cartons - let's say 18-inch tall - placed in the basket. For this specific cargo you might be better off with a larger size of net than if you were transporting something flatter.

For most typical cargo you will be fine using the Cargo Net # CS54FR.

But if you were considering adding the basket extension piece # 59505 that adds about 18-inches of length to the basket you might prefer the larger 38 x 65-inch Curt cargo net # C18201. The dimensions we provide for the nets are when they are relaxed and NOT stretched to their maximum size.

There is another inexpensive but very handy item you might want to consider for use with your roof basket, the Telesteps Folding Step # TE97FR.
