Locking the Replacement Speed Link for Thule Snowboard Carrier

Question:
Does part number 7521241001 accept lock cores? I need to put an older ski rack previous model to current 7326 onto a new AeroBlade ARB53 but want to be able to lock it to the crossbar.

The Replacement SpeedLink, part # 7521241001 does not take lock cores, and relies on the locking mechanism that locks the carrier arms to have security.
The locks are in the upper part of the clamp that carries the skis.
