Question:
Hi , I have the E/H dexter 1600 psi installed and P2 all wired from wires under dash. Power wire installed on stud on front of box fuse. Electric over hyd. mode enabled in controller. I ear a clicfoot when I hook the 7 wires plug and thats it! n.C message is the only thing I can get out of my installation .... Ifoot tried with existing gmc controller unplugged and no difference . My lights and back up center pin are not connected yet would this be the cause for non sensing the dexter unit ? Ive also conducted full test of the unit with a separate battery and it is fine. Brakes were bled that way. Please help ??

You have to have the 12 volt power circuit complete on your truck's 7-way for the Dexter Actuator like part # K71-651 to power on. If you check out the diagram I attached you can see that the actuator needs that circuit to power on.
