The Camco Adjustable Drink Holder, part # CAM44043 in brown or # CAM44044 in black, is designed to be mounted to a wall using the included screws or double sided tape. The screw holes are on the backside so you would use tape to mount the holder to a horizontal surface, like a desk or table. But there's no reason it wouldn't work just fine.
