You have a few options for you 2008 Grand Junction 5th-Wheel Trailer depending on what you want to do. You can replace your motor if we can find a good fit or you could replace your motors and legs. If you also need a gearbox then I need the model number of your landing gear to make a specific recommendation.

For a replacement motor, I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set, Item # LG-217884, with a 5,500-lbs capacity or Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set, Item # LG-196308, with a 6,500-lbs capacity. Both are replacement motors that work with most landing gear sets. You will also need to make sure they will fit in your space available (dimensions are on their product pages).

If you are interested in replacing legs and motors for your 2008 Grand Junction 5th-Wheel Trailer, I recommend looking at the Bulldog Electric Landing Gear Set, Item # RP500708. This set has a combined support capacity of 10,000-lbs and 36 inches of lift. All mounting hardware is included.

To determine if this will fit with the brackets you already have welded to your trailer, you will want to take a measurement between them. The distance between the top and bottom brackets for the legs on this set is 17-1/2 inches.

If you send me more information like the type of legs you have now and the capacity you are looking for, I will make more specific recommendations.

I have a attached additional information and videos that give more details about these options for you to check out.

I also have a 2010 dutchman grand junction. this morning we went to load up and the motor sounded slow, then the camper dropped on 1 side. the motor works but the 1 side attasched to the motor is going up and down but its not supporting weight. Im assuming its in the gear box? any thoughts

@Preachershook That certainly sounds like a gear issue. Sounds like the motor running like usual but things are not moving/supporting like they should and that is pretty much always a problem with the gears. You happen to know what band/model of landing gear you have?
