Yakima Jet Stream Roof Rack Recommendation for 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan with Naked Roof

I need the shortest possible Jetstream crossbars that will work for the Yakima BaseLine naked roof towers. What is the shortest size that will fit with little to no overhang.

Yakima recommends 60 inch Jetstream crossbars part # Y00426 for your 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan with a naked roof as well as part numbers # Y28TR, # Y06117, and # Y06150 to complete the rack.
I was able to find some pictures from Yakima that shows these bars installed on a Tiguan like yours and found that they extended quite a bit past the feet of the rack. See attached picture.
Based on that I can't see why the 50 inch bars part # Y00425 wouldn't work instead.
