The best way to tell if the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-1550 is still functioning correctly would be to simply plug it in. If you don't think it is the adapter then I would try running some tests on the products that you are plugging in the adapter to make sure they are functioning properly.
I don't have access to how the adapter is wired, but if it were malfunctioning I would not try to repair it on your own. If anything were not repaired correctly then that could result in some pretty drastic circumstances. If the adapter isn't working correctly it would be best to just replace it.
