Does the cargo bag have a weight capacity?

Cargo bags, like the Curt Cargo Bag # C18211 that you referenced, do not have weight ratings on them. The reason being is that they are intended to protect cargo and not really to lift and move cargo.

The weight capacity of a hitch mounted cargo bag will depend on a few variables. You will need to know the weight capacity of your cargo carrier, trailer hitch, and your vehicle itself.

If the Tongue eight (TW) of your trailer hitch and vehicle is at least 500 lbs then you could potentially use the 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18151 and the Cargo Bag # C18211 to carry 500 lbs of cargo since that is what the carrier is rated for. If your trailer hitch and/or vehicle has a TW lower than 500 lbs then you will be limited by that weight capacity.
