Question:

I am looking for a light fixture that accepts an 1156 or similar LED bulb. Something that can be wall mounted and directional, like a bullet lamp.

I recommend taking a look at the Gustafson RV Reading Light # 277-000334. This 12V light fixture features a satin nickel color, a 2-hole mount that can be used for a wall application and a directional design like what you are wanting. It has 3, built-in LED bulbs that will give off a nice, warm color that is perfect for a reading light.
