This reading light is incredibly easy to install either as an upgrade or a direct replacement of your existing light. Using the included screws, bolt the light down onto the ceiling or wall of your RV. The light has a 2-wire design that hooks up to ground (white wire) and power (black wire). Once you're finished, you can then turn the light on and off using the integrated push button on the base.

Much nicer than the lights that came with our 5th wheel
Great product, just what I ordered. It took a little extra effort on my part. The wires were so short coming out of my wall, but the reading lights worked great. Screws sent with the fixtures were a little short, so I was able to reuse the other screws. Other than a few blips on my side, they work great
Harry - 02/18/2023Received today opened box inspected lights look like what I want will probably install within the next week. My wife needs bright light to read and we hope these do the job. I am redoing an older 5th wheel. New lights, toilet, bed, chairs, inverter, AC, exhaust fans etc.
Love that they are LED lights. Bright enough to read but not disturb you partner.

Melissa - 02/03/2023This lamp is a well made quality product, and, it looks great. The original light over our table in our MH provided poor lighting. I installed two lights on either side of the original and was able to direct the light to where it was needed.
Richard P - 01/23/2019After 1 year and still building my trailer I hardly used it. I used it only when I was working on the inside of the trailer. Just last week it stopped working. Itvmight have all of 24 hours of use.
I replaced a mushroom type LED light in my overhead cabinet over my bed. The mushroom light was like turning on the burning sun. I wanted a light that I could deflect off the walls and give a more pleasing indirect light source while still being adjustable for reading. I found exactly what I wanted in this fixture. Thanks.
I have already gotten my LED reading light installed and tested in my vintage Airstream. I will need to bondo (or otherwise conceal with an escutcheon to match the fixture or substrate material) the hole where the old recessed eyeball fixture was installed. The base plate of the new light is a bit smaller than the hole left after removing the old fixture. I knew that might be the case when I ordered it, but the fixture will enable the light to be directed where it is needed much more easily than the old eyeball recessed fixture allowed.
Happy with the products ordered and quickly received.
Not at all happy already one has quit in less than 12 months and rv hasn't moved an inch.

My rv came with 2 of those awful super bright led ceiling lights over the bed, yuck! you can sit in the next rom and they shine in your eyes and blind you.
I replaced them with 2 of these we use for reading lights, they're perfect, directional, and they don't bother your partner while you're reading in bed and they're trying to sleep. And the price is good

So far, we love this light. We have a 2017 DRV Mobile Suites which we purchased to go "full time". We discovered that much of the lighting is on a single switch so we've working to separate these so that lights can be used independently. This light was used as a test and it worked out very well. So well that we just placed an order for many more of these and some sconce replacements. All Gustafson brand lights. I will add pictures after we receive the new order and have made some progress installing these. So far, we love this light. The only thing we would prefer would be the same light with a changeable bulb. LEDs last a long time but if one should burn out, you replace the entire fixture instead of just the bulb. I ordered a couple of extra fixtures just in case this ever happens.
This product is perfect for my off-grid DC only house. Perhaps more appreciated than the product, is the service I received from Etrailer. The light I received wouldn't come on no matter how I wired it. Etrailer sent a new one, no questions asked. In retrospect I think the problem was at my house not with them. They were so easy to work with. I would use them over and over.
1st of all, they don't have a logo on them. We removed a dark entertainment center build for a tube tv. We left the bottom cabinets, with a countertop, hung a flat screen on the wall, and needed something to light the area. We removed the standard double 1156 fixture, made up a base, and screwed two of them to the roof. They put out enuff light for brighten the area and light up some crystal pieces on the counter without giving too much reflection. We have brushed nickel finishes in our remodeled kitchen and the fan, so the lights fit in nicely. A good buy.
The lamps worked well as a replacement for the overhead lights in the living area of our RV. I had to make a small adjustment by drilling two holes in order to mount them, but that was minor. I had to return one of the two, as it didn't work out of the box, but return was no hassle and prompt reshipment.
Light is exact replacement for the original. Same color. Replaced the dead light above the bed and was an easy installas this light is the same as the old one. Etrailer easy ordering and fast shipping made this a simple replacement.
