Question:
Just replaced 2 stage reg on 2013 cougar 5th wheel, still does not switch over to secondary tank. Noticed there is a second small reg on that side of trailer, is that a single stage reg? If so will this part work?

Expert Reply:
A 2-stage propane regulator like part # 108220 is not designed to switch over the gas from one tank to another. In order to switch the flow of gas from one tank to another you would need to use an auto changeover regulator like part # CAM59005. A 2-stage and auto changeover regulator may both look the same but are very different in function. This is likely why the gas is not switching for the empty tank and not a failed secondary regulator like part # 108072.
