Replacement Parts for Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar

Question:

I flat tow my wrangler using front bumper d rings. My tow rig is 6 years old and is getting harder and harder to slide the steel arms. Is there a way to replace the sliding internal parts but not the heavy duty metal parts

I have a falcon all terrain ser 018782. One arm is very stiff pulling in and out. The does no look bent. But there is play in the swivel collar. I am not sure whether to by a repair kit, just a reacement arm or both. The arms do pull in and out. The locks work as well. The play in the swivel collar allows about 10 degrees of movement.

I would try using some spray lubricant on the arms. They might just be ceased up because of being exposed to the elements. I would work the arms in and out until they are operating smoothly. If they do not cooperate then I would look into getting the repair kit first and then replacement arms if all else fails.
