How's it going everybody Clayton here at etrailer.com. Here at each trailer, we install, test and review a lot of different products. So that you, as the customer, can make a more educated decision before your purchase. Today, we're going to be taking a look at and I'll be showing you how to install, the replacement nylon washer for your Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bars. These washers are going to fit right in between our swivel collar to the end of our arm. Now you're definitely gonna notice when these aren't here cause that's going to click and rattle and make a ton of noise.
Not only is it going to be annoying but it's actually going to eat some of that material away between our collar and the end of our arm. So you want to get these replaced as soon as possible. Now you do want to keep in mind this is only one part for each part number. So you will have to pick up two of them, if you wanted to replace the two on each arm or four if you're replacing all of them. You do need to keep in mind that this is designed to work with the stock collars on the end of our tow bar.
So if you do have adapters, you might need a different part. You're only gonna need two tools to replace this. So that's nice. And this is probably going to be something that you already have. We just need a quarter inch Allen key and a nine 16th inch socket.
We're just gonna put these on here, like, so and then loosen that up. Okay and then thread off our nut. So just pull that bolt out carefully and catch those washers as they come out. We want to grab one of those washers. Just kind of hold it there on the inside.
We can use that bolt to kind of support that washer while we're installing it. We just want to line that up with the hole in the end of our arm. We'll slide that bolt through. We can grab our other washer, drop that down, and just slide that bolt through. Now we want to grab that nylon lock nut and start threading that back on. We can grab those same tools and tighten it down. We just want to snug it down. We don't want to over-tighten it cause we do have a torque spec. And we do need to come back and torque down the bolt that attaches our collar to the end of our arm. You can find those torque specs in the instructions for your actual tow bar. Now that will we have our washers replaced, we're ready to hook up to our vehicle and hit the road. That's going to do it for our look at and our installation of the replacement nylon washer for our Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bars..
