Just want to make another key so Is this product just a blank that I can take to a store and get a new key made?

I have a solution for you, however each key is custom made by each manufacturer, and blanks are not available for them.
For a Thule car box though, you're able to search for a key by searching "THKEYNXXX" where "XXX" is the number printed on your lock. Some are 4 digit numbers. For instance, if your lock is labeled "054," then you'll want to pick up part # THKEYN054 to replace your key.
