Sounds like you were describing the Roadmaster Magnetic Tow Lights # NV-5164.

These lights use red lights and are very easy to install.

If you are wanting to mount the lights on the sides of your jacks then I recommend using some bungee cords or something like a Support Strap # 18050 to help secure them. Since these are meant to sit on top of vehicles, I am not sure how well they will hold up to any bumps going down the highway when installed sideways.

The closest option that we have in a wired system is the MaxxTow Magnetic Tow Lights # MT70097 which has 20 feet of cord to the 4-Way connector and 80 inches of wire between the lights. If you can find a way to make the 80 inches work then you will also need a wiring adapter so that this 4-Way connector is compatible with your 7-Way. For this I recommend the Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716. You can see this combination in use with the linked video.
