Replacement Trailer Tires to Replace Automotive Wheels and Tires on Trailer

Question:
New Boat trailer came with Kendra 215/65R 17 98T tires. Are these trailer tires or rated for boat trailer use?? thanks

Trailer tires should have ST in front of the 215/65R17 tire size. This stands for Special Trailer and tells you they are specifically designed for trailer use having a stronger sidewall than automotive tires. Kenda is a company that makes automotive as well as trailer tires. I've attached an article to assist with some of the general tire questions for trailers.
Due to the wheel size, I would think they are automotive tires as we have no tires that are a fit for 17 inch wheels and we carry a lot of Kenda tires.
If you'd like a recommendation for trailer wheels and tires, let me know your bolt pattern and I'd be happy to assist.
