The colors on truck dont match wiring diagram. I have a Few 250 super duty. Trying to wire a seven way for trailor

It's frustrating, but sometimes trailer wiring colors don't always match what the standard colors are supposed to be. In those situations you have to test the wires by function with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 and then wire by function to a diagram of the connector like the picture I attached.
