Question:
Hello, I was wondering if you have the Seasucker for Kayaks in stock. I want to carry my Zegul Bara Full Carbon Fiber 17.5 kayak on my BMW I3. It weighs around 33-45 pounds

SeaSucker doesn't currently produce a dedicated kayak rack, however, if you have a kayak that is less than 45 pounds, you may be able to use the SeaSucker Surfboard Carrier, part # 298-BX1806 as a viable alternative.
The Surfboard/SUP carrier does include the tiedowns for securing the kayak to the racks, but not a bow or stern kit.
For that, I recommend using the Malone Quik-Lash, part # MPG308 attachment points and the Thule Quick Draw Tie-Down Ropes w/ Ratchets and Strap Loops - 13' - Qty 2 # TH855XT. This will give you a quick and easy way of attaching the kayak to the vehicle with a minimal risk of damage to the vehicle's finish.
If you want to add some security to your setup, you can add the Thule Multipurpose Locking Straps, part # TH832 to replace your kayak straps that come with the seasucker. These 10-foot-long nylon-coated steel straps can easily loop around the kayak, through the SeaSucker and into the vehicle, giving you added security. Additionally, the straps also include keyed-alike locks in a rubber housing for even more security.
Since the Bara is so long, you'll want to check with your local laws and regulations to see what the flagging and clearance light extended load rules are for your location and your destination. Compared between the two, you'll always want to use the more restrictive of the two rules. If you need help finding these, let me know.
When you mount the SeaSucker and your kayak, you'll want to space the two suction platforms as far apart as is reasonable to still safely and securely attach it to your vehicle and center the kayak as much as possible for the best performance from the rack.
