Question:

2 questions regarding - Bulldog Winch Rear Wiring Kit Item # BDW20206 1. How are the wires attached to the connector on the winch side? Are they a push fit or are they soldered? 2. I dont know what gauge the wires are on my 9500# winch. Is the 2 GA wire pretty typical

On the winch side of the Bulldog Winch Rear Wiring Kit Item # BDW20206, the wires are designed to be crimped and soldered onto your wires. If you take a look at the video I've linked, you can see this addressed by our installer starting at about the 5:30 mark.

As for the wire gauge on your winch, I recommend taking a look at your owner's manual if you still have it laying around somewhere, but 2 gauge is pretty typical on the 9,500 lb winches we carry such as the Bulldog # BDW10045.
