Question:

2017 Keystone 28sgs 5th wheel, we would like to add slider awnings. There is a gutter rail with downspouts above all 3 slides now. Would awnings be placed under this rail? Is there enough height to allow down drainage of rain... and one more question: measurement of the closet slide is 63 wide, and the awning shows smallest width at 59. Will the awning attach with 2 inch overhang on each side? Thanks

I reached out to my contact at Solera and they said that those new rain gutters have a track built into them for the poly cord of the slide topper awning. They are being designed with this as an integrated feature on many trailers now.

The slide out awnings are designed to be wider than the box width. For the proper fit, you will measure your slider from flange to flange. If that measurement is 59 inches, then you would use the Solera 5.5' Slider (Slide-Topper) in Black w/ Black Hardware # LCV000168104 for flange to flange measurements between 56 inches and 61-3/4 inches. So if the measurement is 63 inches from flange then you would need the 6 foot slider # LCV000231482 which is a fit for flange to flange width of 62 to 67-3/4 inches. These awnings are available in black or white.
