Question:
What bolts, nuts and washers should be used when installing on the floor of a truck bed?

Expert Reply:
When installing the Brophy Light Duty D-Ring Tie Down Anchor # SR10-C to your truck bed floor, I'd recommend using the mounting plate # BP12, which will be placed under your truck bed directly under the D-ring. This will give you additional support for the D-ring so that you do not damage the bed of your truck. As for the hardware, Brophy recommends using 1/4" x 2 1/4" Zinc bolts, nuts and lock washers which you should be able to purchase locally at any hardware store. I've attached a video of this D-ring and mounting plate being installed on a trailer. The process will be the same for your truck bed.
