Question:
My question regards Trailer Tail Light Item # STL8RB. Im replacing running / stop lights that are mounted on a railway motor car speeder. The current lights are mounted on the cab with mounting studs 2 inch on center, the same as the lights I'm asking about. But my question regards the routing for the wires. Is it possible to drill a hole on these housings on center between the studs for the wires to exit? I'd be using 2 right side models on both front and back since I wouldnt want the license illumination feature at any location.

You could drill a small hole in Optronics Tail Light # STL8RB, though it would almost certainly void the warranty. I may have a better solution for you with Blazer Tail Light # C7493RTM. This light is also a red, square, LED light with mounting studs 2" apart on center. However, the wires in the rear of this light exit in the middle so there would be no need for you to drill any holes or make modifications.
I've added a photo of the back of this light so you can see where the wires exit, and I've also attached a link to a video review of this light for you to take a look at.
