The Replacement License Plate Light Kit for Westin Bumpers - Chrome # 00007153 may work well with your 1995 Dodge Dakota Sport. The housing for the light itself is 1-3/4 inches wide at the center and 2.1 inches long so it will fit and cover the hole in the bumper. The retaining clip that holds the light in place is 1-1/2 inches wide and 1-3/4 inches long to retain the light. I've attached a photo to assist. As long as they fit the openings, this system will work very well for you.
