Recommended Replacement For Dexstar # 17-293 With 16x6 8 Lug Rim

Question:

Looking for a replacement rim for a 2014 Redwood 36RL 5th wheel. Current spare tire rim is bent had difficulty when had tires rebalanced. Current size is 16X6 8 lug rim. Brand is Dexstar #17-293 weight capacity 3750 lbs. Curious what would cause rim to bend in the 1st place? The axles are 7K lbs.

While searching for a replacement for your Dexstar #17-293, I found a great option that is the Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel # AM20794. It has a zero offset with 3,960 pound capacity at 110 psi. It has an 8 lug on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern and is compatible with 1/2-20 or 9/16-18 wheel studs.

Sorry to hear about your bent rim. All kinds of things can cause a rim to bend...rough roads, debris in road, etc. Regardless of cause, bent rims are not fun!
