Question:

2017 Audi Q3 with fix point side rails. What length aerobars do I need to use with kayak lift assist Hullavator? arb47 arb53? It states you need 4-8 inch extra. Thanks!

To use the Thule Hullavator # TH898 with your 2017 Audi Q3 you would use the 47" crossbars, # TH711200; these would give you the necessary room for the Hullavator. A complete roof rack for your '17 Q3 would include those crossbars, along with the Thule Foot Pack for Aero Bars # TH710601 and Thule Fit Kit # TH186031.

The Hullavator # TH898 is a unique and highly effective kayak carrier due to its lift assist feature, which makes mounting your kayak a much less daunting prospect after a day out on the water. I strongly recommend using Thule's One-Key System Lock Cylinders; you would need four cylinders to lock the rack and two more for the Hullavator. The # TH450600 cylinders come in a pack of six, which will allow you the most security to protect your investments; the # TH450400 are a pack of four.
