Difference Between Load Ranges for Tire Size 4.80-12

Question:

What is it mean by the load B, C, and D. My old tires are 4.80-12. I need 13in tires.

Load ranges are basically an easy way to organize trailer tire capacities. They will vary based on the tire size. For example a Load Range C tire in the 4.80-12 tire size like the part # AM30660 that you referenced has a 990 lb capacity at 90 psi.

A Load Range C ST205/75D14 like part # AM3S440 would have a 1,760 lb capacity at 50 psi.

I wish I had a simpler answer to provide for you.
