Question:

I have the Roadmaster Stowaway tow bar. The base plate in your picture doesn't show a small vertical tapered peg on each side which enables you to mount the tow bar which is secured by a lynch pin on each side. Honda 2007 CR-V

I believe you are speaking of the Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar # RM-501, as the Stowaway # RM-4000-40 is a storage system which slides over a tow bar.

In order to use your StowMaster you would need the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit # RM-521559-4, which is confirmed to work with that tow bar and will allow you to use the quick disconnect system. That system features brackets on the StowMaster and EZ4 plates which line up and are held in place with the pins that you referenced.
