Question:
How high off the roof will a round bar sit in the new baseline tower
asked by: Gordon
Expert Reply:
I went out to our warehouse and put a kit together real fast, and when I measured it off the ground, the round bar sits about 3-1/4 inches off the ground when installed into the required SL Adapter, part # Y03536. To note, the bottom of the baseline tower was about 2 inches off the ground. The fit kit can add roughly 1/4 inch to the tower.
Your fit kit will change for the Baseline tower, and if you reply and let me know what vehicle you have, I can recommend a more complete kit for your round bars.
