why cant I just buy the L bracket, mine wore out in twenty trips with my trailer

We do have some other replacement parts for the Curt TruTrack weight distribution system # C17500 or # C17501. If you need the small L-pins and clips by themselves we have them in a 2-pack, # C17513.

If you are talking about the long L-bracket that the spring bar sits on I talked to my contact over at Curt and he informed be that the bracket is only available in the kit, # C17508. Though if the bracket failed due to a defect it could be covered under the 10 year warranty through Curt.
